Programme Details. Day 1 - On arrival at the airport you will be met and taken to Alagna where you will check in at the Hotel. Once settled you will meet with your Alpine Guide so they can explain the programme for the holiday and check over your equipment. You can then relax for the rest of the evening and enjoy dinner in the Hotel. Day 2 - You will enjoy a full day skiing/boarding off piste in the Monte Rosa ski area through “Valle Perduta”, “Malfatta” and “Valle d’Otro”. You will also be taught how to deal with the dangers of skiing off piste in the mountains for instance what to do in the event of an avalanche and the technical equipment that is available to help you. You will spend the nights in the Hotel including dinner where you can relax for some après ski or maybe an early night! Day 3 - See day 2. Day 4 - You will be flown by helicopter to a peak between “Colle delle Locce” and “Punta Grober” which is one of the highest peaks of the Monte Rosa range at 3,400m. From here you will ski/board down on the glacier until you reach the Refuge Zamboni Zappa where you will meet the helicopter and fly to the next peak of the day “Pizzo Bianco”. From here you will ski/board down to the north face to reach “Rosareccio” and then down to the village of Macugnaga and the Hotel Flora for dinner and some relaxing après ski. Day 5 - You will take the cable car to the top of the Monte Moro and then ski down to Lake Mattmark in Saas Almagell, Switzerland. From here you will return by bus to Macugnaga for your last evening in the Hotel Flora where you can enjoy the last night and watch a movie of the holiday.
